Donna has enjoyed a 35 year-long career in the field of labor, employment and business law.
For nearly 35 years, she exclusively represented employers as an attorney with nationally acclaimed boutique employment firms in New York City (Jackson Lewis), New Orleans (Kullman Inman), Atlanta (Jackson Lewis; Fisher Phillips), and Tampa (Thompson Sizemore Gonzalez & Hearing). In 2012, Donna redirected her practice to focus on representation of employees (Wenzel Fenton Cabassa). Donna’s vast experience on both sides of the table uniquely impacts the dialogue between parties who are navigating solutions to resolve their disputes.
Donna is now practicing law with an emphasis on negotiating employment agreements, litigation of non-compete and restrictive covenant issues, and trade secrets. She enjoys a robust mediation and arbitration practice throughout Florida, Georgia and Colorado.
Donna has litigated a broad range of employment disputes, mediated hundreds of cases, and counseled employees and employers through the intricacies of complex business negotiations. Donna has extensive single party and collective/class action litigation and dispute resolution experience (FLSA, COBRA, Title VII, ADEA).
Donna has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil Court Mediator. She is a Certified Mediator, United States District Court, Middle District Florida and approved arbitrator in the State COurts. She is admitted to practice law in Florida, Georgia and Colorado (inactive status in New York, Connecticut and Louisiana). She is available for in person and virtual mediations.
Donna is available for court-ordered mediations as well as pre-suit mediations, arbitrations and sensitive fact investigations.
